USC men's basketball team still outside AP Top 25

USC remained outside the final Associated Press men’s basketball poll of the regular season, finishing seventh among “others receiving votes.”

It received six points for the Top 25 rankings, behind Seton Hall, which totaled nine.

The Trojans, who beat Washington State and Washington to sweep their final homestand, improved to 23-8 overall and 10-8 in the Pac-12 for their best regular-season mark since 1992. It was their the most wins for a season since a school-record 25 in 2007.

After beginning the season 14-0, the Trojans were ranked in early January, but dropped out in late February amid a four-game losing streak that also put them on the NCAA Tournament bubble.
