LOS ANGELES >> USC left guard Damien Mama said he has submitted paperwork to the NFL Draft Advisory Board.
Mama, a junior, has the option to stay with the Trojans for his senior season or declare for the NFL draft. He has not yet received feedback that gives players approximate round estimations with three options: first round, second round and third round to undrafted.
“The grade will definitely play a factor,” Mama said, “and what’s the best situation for myself and my family and the team.”
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound lineman said he has started to discuss his future with head coach Clay Helton, strength and conditioning coach Ivan Lewis and others on staff, along with his family.
