LOS ANGELES — Most of the festivities that precede the Rose Bowl will not begin until next week.
Among the excursions for USC and Penn State players are a trip to the Disneyland Resort and to Lawry’s, the famed prime rib restaurant in Beverly Hills, for the Beef Bowl.
Former Trojans receiver Keyshawn Johnson, the MVP of the 1996 Rose Bowl, was on campus earlier this week and spoke with several players.
Johnson talked about his experience — line in the 41-32 victory over Northwestern, when he caught 12 passes for 216 yards and one touchdown.
