Freshman Isaiah Langley wears No. 14, which is fitting because he became the 14th true freshman to play for USC this season.
Langley did not play in the Trojans’ first two games but was thrust into the Arizona State game at cornerback.
“I expected to redshirt,” Langley said. “But playing against Arizona State and now Washington, these are big games. I have a role on this team and I’m excited.”
He played well against Arizona State in some big situations and now gives the Trojans an additional cornerback, which is important because USC coach Steve Sarkisian is sometimes reluctant to move cornerback Adoree Jackson to offense.
