LOS ANGELES – USC’s top-ranked recruit might be on the verge of starting his first game.
Freshman cornerback Iman Marshall of Long Beach Poly appears to be on track to man the spot opposite Adoree’ Jackson when sixth-ranked USC (2-0) plays host to Stanford (1-1) on Saturday night.
Marshall – who played more total snaps than any other player in the Trojans’ first two games, according to USCFootball.com – took a significant number of first-team reps the past two days.
Senior Kevon Seymour started the opener against Arkansas State. Sophomore Jonathan Lockett (Mater Dei High) replaced Seymour against Idaho.
