Since Steve Sarkisian began his head coaching career in 2009, he’s had a 1,000 yard rusher in every season, which bodes well for USC football’s Justin Davis and Tre Madden. Both enter 2015 as candidates to be the No. 1 rusher, though both have had their share of injuries. Together, their season-ending ailments in 2013 paved the way for Buck Allen to emerge as USC’s best running back since Reggie Bush. But with Allen off to the NFL, Davis and Madden aim to get their job back as a potent duo atop the depth chart as they were two years ago.
