With the 2019 USC football season officially over and a new year begun, it’s time for some roster housekeeping.
Seventeen Trojans preserved a season of eligibility in 2019 by taking a redshirt. Of those, 13 were freshmen, but injury forced redshirts for a number of non-freshmen as well.

Quarterback JT Daniels was only able to play in one half of football before blowing out his knee. He will return as a redshirt sophomore in 2020.
Inside linebacker Jordan Iosefa struggled with a knee injury going into the season and ultimate sat out completely, allowing him to come back next year as a redshirt senior.
