USC football team not looking past struggling Oregon

It has been a predominant feature of football throughout the Pac-12 Conference for almost a decade, ever since Chip Kelly joined the staff as an offensive coordinator in 2007.

Oregon scores points. A lot of them.

The standard continued when Kelly took over for Mike Bellotti, and when Mark Helfrich was promoted to replace Kelly, who left for the NFL following the 2012 season.

The Ducks, using a spread offense, play at a torpedo’s pace. They became one of the earliest teams to push the tempo by hurrying to the line of scrimmage to run off more and more plays in a game.
