After losing to Arizona State 38-35 on Saturday, the USC football team will enter November with a .500 record for the first time since 2001.
Let’s look at the studs and duds from the game…
Studs
Jack Sears
Are we sure Jack Sears is a third-string quarterback? The redshirt freshman from San Clemente looked solid in his first-ever collegiate outing, completing 20-of-28 passes for 235 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He gained 36 yards with his feet —despite netting just 10 due to sacks— to give USC an extra bit of spunk on offense.
