Fighting for bowl eligibility and the Jeweled Shillelagh, USC football gave Notre Dame as much as they could handle at the Coliseum on Saturday night.
However, the Trojans suffered from familiar mistakes as the Fighting Irish punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff with a 24-17 victory.
