USC football snaps 3-game losing streak to UCLA, wins Pac-12 South

As the final minutes ticked off the clock at the Coliseum, the Cardinal-clad crowd began to chant: “We are SC! We are SC!”

In front of 83,602 at the Coliseum on Saturday, USC snapped a three-game losing streak to crosstown rival UCLA, winning 40-21 to claim the Pac-12 South. The Trojans will play in their first-ever conference championship game when they face Stanford on Dec. 5 in Santa Clara.

The Trojans were ineligible to play in the 2011 championship game due to a postseason ban and UCLA took their place.
