In case it wasn’t already clear, wide receiver Joseph Lewis’ time with USC football is definitely over now.
The former five-star prospect, who was suspended and removed from the Trojans roster before Spring Camp because of a domestic violence arrest, was arrested again on Wednesday night, per the Los Angeles Times.
This comes just a couple of weeks after Lewis was released from jail. He served 21 days for a no contest plea to two misdemeanor counts of domestic battery.
According to the Times, Lewis “hoped to rejoin the Trojans for fall camp.”
While it seemed unlikely USC would bring Lewis back either way, given the strict way the university has handled student-conduct issues in the past, this latest incident adds some certainty to his status.
