USC football suffered their second loss of the season on Saturday in a 28-14 contest with the Washington Huskies.
Here’s a look at how each unit graded out:
USC’s defensive line remains the steadiest part of the defense, but maybe they were too steady against Washington.
On the one hand, they were largely effective against the Husky run attack. Though Salvon Ahmed averaged nine yards per carry, that tells little of the true story. Outside of one 89-yard touchdown run, he averaged four yards per carry and was largely contained inside.
The Trojan line also generated two sacks and managed to make Jacob Eason uncomfortable, finishing with just 180 yards passing.
