USC football picked up a new quarterback commit this week, but that didn’t stop four-star dual-threat Jayden Daniels from including the Trojans in his Top 8 schools on Monday.
“First off I want to thank all the universities that have shown interest in me and gave me an opportunity to play at the next level,” Daniels wrote on Twitter. “My Family and I are grateful for the opportunities this process has and will continue to give us.”
Daniels then listed a Top 8 of USC, Penn State, Nebraska, Cal, UCLA, Georgia, Texas A&M and Utah.
Daniels is the second-best dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2019, ranking 80th nationally and 15th in California, per the 247Sports composite.
