Drought conditions in Los Angeles are finally coming to an end after record rainfall in 2017, but for football fans the wet conditions have had another impact.
The Los Angeles Rams and Chargers will have to wait until 2020 to open their new $2.6 billion stadium in Inglewood because of massive rain delays during the excavation phase of the project this past winter — meaning USC Football will continue to host the Rams at the LA Coliseum through the 2019 season.
The plan had originally intended for the Rams to share the Coliseum for just two seasons before moving to Inglewood for the 2019 campaign.
