After a tougher-than-expected opening weekend against Western Michigan, USC Football was back on the practice field on Tuesday with something to prove.
The competitive juices were flowing enough for several scuffles to break out between offensive and defensive players.
At one point, receiver Tyler Vaughns and cornerback Isaiah Langley had to be separated, while a pushing contest between receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe and nickelback Ajene Harris ended with cornerback Jack Jones on top of the wide out.
Head coach Clay Helton wasn’t worried about the clashes.
“Defensively, I thought they had their jaws set today,” Helton said.
