Things may not be as bad as they seemed for suspended receiver Joseph Lewis at first, after the LA County district attorney’s office declined to file felony charges.
Lewis is still facing potential misdemeanor charges from the Los Angeles City attorney’s office, according to ESPN.
The receiver was arrested on Feb. 12 in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident and booked on felony domestic battery. No official details have been given as to the nature of the offense, but the Daily News reported that choke and bite marks were found on the alleged victim.
