USC football opens the 2016 home slate against Utah State at 11:00 a.m., an unusual start time in Troy, which may explain some added incentive to make it to the game on time — a Marcus Allen bobblehead.
The Trojans will offer the bobblehead featuring the Heisman winner before the game on September 10.
That date will also be the first time USC fans will deal with new NFL security rules at the Coliseum, including restrictions allowing only clear bags into the stadium.
While USC has not indicated if they will continue to have past Trojan greats lead the team onto the field this season, it is a safe bet that Allen may be the one to make an appearance in the tunnel.
