Already down to a third-string center, the USC Trojans may have to start their fourth-string option against the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday as Clay Helton called Khaliel Rodgers “questionable” with an ankle injury.

Rodgers suffered a high ankle sprain early in the game against UCLA and had to be carted to the locker room. Though Rodgers would eventually return, back up Nico Falah played most of the game in his stead.
“I think we’re going to have to watch him,” Helton said during his Sunday conference call.
