After a couple of weeks on the outside looking in, USC basketball returned to the AP Top 25 at No. 23.
The Trojans crashed out of the rankings, their first appearance since 2008, following consecutive losses to Oregon and Oregon State. A sweep of Washington and Washington State at the Galen Center put USC back in position to climb back into the rankings and last Thursday’s 80-61 victory over UCLA provided the final boost.
Oregon jumped up from No. 16 to No. 11 in the latest rankings while Arizona moved up from No. 23 to No. 17.
