USC’s 89-75 win at Pauley Pavilion was just their second victory over the Bruins in that last dozen meetings between the two teams. Now sporting a 15-3 record on the season, the AP poll ranked the Trojans ahead of the likes of Indiana and Kentucky and just one spot behind Duke.
The Trojans were last ranked in the AP poll in the 2008-09 season when they appeared at No. 19 before dropping out after a loss to Seton Hall in November.
USC and No. 12 Arizona are the only Pac-12 teams ranked for Week 11.
USA Today also listed USC among their top teams this week as well.
