The lowdown:
Oregon’s Mikyle MacIntosh opened the scoring and pushed the Ducks out to an early 12-6 lead before a Chimezie Metu dunk stemmed the bleeding.
Still, Oregon maintained a seven-point advantage for much of the first half before the Trojans got hot from three. Metu hit one from distance then Jonah Mathews hit two in a row to give USC the lead at 25-24.
Though they couldn’t build on that lead, Trojans went into halftime trailing just 29-28.
Nick Rakocevic put USC on the board first in the second half with a dunk out of the inbounds from Jordan McLaughlin, but the half continued a tight, back-and-forth contest with 11 lead changes and 11 ties.
