The lowdown:
Jonah Mathews was the first on the board for USC and he remained the hot hand throughout the first half.
The game started in back-and-forth fashion. At the under-12 timeout, the two teams were tied at 17. From there the Trojans took over.
With Mathews hitting four three pointers and Elijah Stewart adding three of his own, USC went on a 20-6 run to end the first half.
It was 37-23 in favor of the Trojans going into the break.
The start of the second half only continued USC’s dominance as Oregon failed to hit a field goal in the first five minutes.
