USC basketball is going dancing.
The Trojans will make their second-straight tournament appearance under head coach Andy Enfield as a No. 11 seed against a familiar opponent in the East Region play-in game, the Providence Friars.
Providence booted USC from the tournament last season, 70-69, in the first round with a dramatic last-second finish. The Trojans will get their shot at revenge in Dayton on Wednesday.
If the Trojans advance, they will face No. 6 seed SMU, who they beat earlier this season at the Galen Center.
USC was knocked out of the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday after pushing UCLA to the brink.
