USC athletic director Pat Haden will retire at the end of June, the school announced Friday morning.
Haden, who turned 63 last month, will continue at USC through June 2017 to "guide our renovation" of the Coliseum, school president Max Nikias said in a letter.
"Pat has accomplished USC's objectives here through is distinct blend of integrity, energy, wisdom and character," Nikias said in the letter.
USC did not announce a successor and solicited nominations through the consulting firm Brill Neumann.
More to come.
