Guards Jonah Mathews and De’Anthony Melton and forward Harrison Henderson have signed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) to play basketball at USC it was announced by head coach Andy Enfield today (Nov. 12).
Mathews, of Santa Monica HS in Santa Monica, Calif., is ranked the No. 70 recruit in his class by ESPN. He was also ranked the No. 72 overall prospect and the No. 1 shooting guard in California by Scout.com. The 6-3, 180-pound guard led Santa Monica to the CIF Southern Section playoffs with his outstanding shooting and all-around game. Mathews comes from a basketball family as his father Phil is currently the head coach at Riverside Community College and his older brother, Jordan, is a junior playing at California.
