USC picked up a huge commitment in the class of 2016 this morning when offensive lineman Nathan Smith committed to USC over 30 schools that included Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Notre Dame, and others.
Smith, a junior at Murrieta Mesa High School, is ranked as the No. 24 offensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports and becomes the first offensive lineman commit for the Trojans in next year's class.
At 6'7" and 276 pounds, Smith will add more depth to the USC offensive line next year.
