LOS ANGELES — Motorists in the Exposition Park area could run into some traffic congestion this afternoon because of the USC-Washington football game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The opening kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., with Coliseum lots open and available for game parking beginning at 2 p.m. In an attempt to reduce congestion, USC officials are encouraging fans to use Metro Rail.
Expo Line trains will run every eight minutes starting at approximately 4 p.m. and through the game in order to accommodate crowds, according to Anna Chen, a Metro public information officer.
On-campus parking and tailgating will not be allowed.
