Suspended USC linebacker Osa Masina has been ordered to stand trial on one charge of first-degree rape and two charges of forcible sodomy after a preliminary hearing in Salt Lake City on Monday, according to Masina’s attorney.
The alleged victim testified at the hearing that Masina raped her in July during a house party in Salt Lake City.
Masina's attorney, Greg Skordas, said, "We felt comfortable with the evidence and there were no surprises."
"This is a case that is going to go to trial and it was helpful to both sides to hear from the alleged victim," Skordas added.
