Steven Mitchell’s NFL home will be his college home, at least for now. The USC wide out was signed by the Coliseum-dwelling LA Rams as an undrafted free agent on Saturday, following the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The signing was reported on Twitter by USC:
Mitchell will look to find a smoother road in the NFL than he faced in Los Angeles. A promising recruit coming out of Bishop Alemany, he tore ligaments in his knee ahead of his freshman season.
His return from that injury took quite awhile. Though he made it onto the field in 2014, his impact was limited and he suffered a sprained knee late in the year.
