Stephen Carr reportedly injured, will miss USC Football Spring Camp

USC Football was supposed to spend Spring Camp 2018 adjusting to life without leading rusher Ronald Jones II. Now they’ll be without the man tapped to replace him, Stephen Carr.

Carr will miss all of spring practice with a herniated disc, according to reports from USCFootball.com and TrojanSports.com.

After a bright start to his Trojan career, Carr was slated to step into Jones II’s shoes as the presumptive starter at running back. Though he is likely to return for fall camp and take on that No. 1 role, USC will have just two scholarship running backs to use during camp.
