LOS ANGELES – One week after being the hero against Cal, USC tailback Tre Madden barely played against Arizona. The one time he got his hands on the ball, Madden failed to secure a handoff from quarterback Cody Kessler, resulting in a lost fumble.
That two-game stretch mirrors Madden’s season and career at USC. Both have featured massive fluctuations.
The Mission Viejo High product played brilliantly over the first half of 2013 before injuries slowed him down.
