The San Bernardino Police Department released the audio from the 911 call from North Park Elementary School, made moments after a man killed his estranged wife and shot two children, killing one.
“911 emergency,” a female emergency dispatcher answered the phone, at 10:24 a.m.
“We have an active shooter at North Park Elementary,” an unidentified woman at North Park said.
“North Park Elementary?”
“Yes, one of our teachers was shot.”
“OK, we’re on our way. Hold on, hold on, don’t hang up.”
Riverside resident Cedric Anderson entered North Park Elementary, heading directly to Classroom B1 through the main office, after earlier attempts to get through a locked side door had failed.
