Ronnie Lott added to College Football Playoff Selection Committee

A USC Football representative is back on the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.

Pro and College Football Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott was announced as one of the newest members of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee on Wednesday.

Lott will serve a three-year term on the committee, which is responsible for selecting the four playoff teams each year, assigning the semifinal matchups and then populating the remaining New Year’s bowl games. The committee also votes on a weekly Top 25 ranking in the lead up to the final vote.

An All-American at USC and a legendary defender in the NFL, Lott’s football acumen is unrivaled.
