Clay Helton’s Trojans have added a quarterback to the 2019 USC recruiting class in the form of three-star Scottsdale, Ariz. product Kedon Slovis.
The 6-foot-2, 186-pound signal caller is a pro-style quarterback under the tutelage of Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, his position coach at Desert Mountain HS in Scottsdale.
Despite having only a three-star ranking and not enough of a look by recruiting services to make the 247 Sports Composite —he ranks as the 50th pro-style quarterback and 1279th overall recruit in 247Sports’ own rankings— Slovis is an intriguing recruit, given his dark horse nature.
