With more than half a year of recruiting to complete, the motto for USC Football’s class of 2018 so far is “quality not quantity.”
That’s on display in the post-spring update of the Scout 300 which was revealed on Friday.
The recruiting services’ new rankings include two Trojan commits among the Top 10 players, with linebacker Palaie Gaoteote ranking No. 4 and quarterback Matt Corral sitting at No. 10. Both are five-star prospects for 2018.
Only Clemson boasts as many Top 10 commits — the Tigers have pledges from No. 1 overall player Trevor Lawrence and No.
