It would be easy to criticize former USC coach Steve Sarkisian after he got fired, but so far Trojans players are reluctant to elaborate on differences between him and interim coach Clay Helton.
The big change seems to be Helton’s philosophy, which is for everyone to enjoy themselves and play loose in the wake of the turmoil. It is almost identical to Ed Orgeron’s tactics two years ago when he replaced Lane Kiffin.
“Things have changed a little bit,” defensive back Kevon Seymour said. “Coach Helton and Sark are two different people. They try to pump us up in their own ways.
