CARSON >> Penn State’s best wins have come in comeback fashion this season. The Nittany Lions would rather their last win come in a more comfortable manner.
Although they’re exceptional in comeback mode, the Nittany Lions are looking for a stronger start at the Rose Bowl against USC on Monday to avoid having to dig out of a double-digit hole again. They’ve already roared back from 21- and 14-point deficits against Wisconsin and Ohio State, respectively.
“I don’t love having to come back from a 21-point deficit, if you can avoid it,” Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley said.
