USC is adding several new weapons on offense for the 2016 recruiting class, and now they'll have another big target from a somewhat unlikely place. Tight end Cary Angeline has faxed in his paperwork, and is now officially a member of the 2016 USC Trojan recruiting class.
Angeline is a consensus four-star prospect, and is rated the 10th best tight end prospect, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6'7, 230 pounder from Exton, PA boosted offers from virtually every other major college football program, including Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon and others. Penn State, Florida State and Notre Dame were some of the biggest rivals to USC, but in the end, the Trojans were able to win the day.
