Katin Reinhardt, USC shoot past Cal Poly SLO

LOS ANGELES – Katin Reinhardt is coming of age, and the USC basketball team is beginning to live up to the reputation of third-year coach Andy Enfield.

Reinhardt went 7 for 9 from 3-point range and scored a season-high 29 points Thursday night, and the Trojans ran over visiting Cal Poly, 101-82, for their fourth straight win.

USC point guard Julian Jacobs returned after missing Sunday’s win against Yale because of tendinitis in his left Achilles and distributed a career-high 13 assists to go with 10 points. Freshman Chimezie Metu added a season-high 16 points, Nikola Jovanovic had 13 and Darion Clark finished with a season-best 10 as six players scored in double figures for USC (9-2).
