The former UCLA commit was deciding between the Trojans and Oregon Ducks before his announcement on the Fourth of July.
The Trojans celebrated Fourth of July with a bang. Early in the afternoon, four-star athlete Michael Pittman announced his decision to join the Trojans via twitter.
Coming out of Westlake's Oaks Christian High School, Pittman, a former UCLA commit, was considered a sure fire recruit for the Oregon Ducks. However, according to Oregonlive.com, Pittman was swayed to join the Trojans after his visit to the USC campus.
"What happened was, I don't know what made me want to go visit USC, but I needed something to reference Oregon off.
