Former USC TE Bryce Dixon charged with felony carjacking

Former USC tight end Bryce Dixon was charged with carjacking Tuesday after being arrested following a police investigation into a series of robberies.

Dixon, 19, was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail at the 77th Street station jail after an incident near the USC campus. He was arrested for suspicion of carjacking but police were also investigating a connection with other robberies.

Dixon attends USC as a student but was not on the football team last season after two alleged incidents of sexual misconduct involving a female student trainer in 2014. He was cleared of one charge but found to violate the university’s “affirmative consent” policy.
