Former USC player Bryce Dixon charged with robberies, carjacking

Former USC tight end Bryce Dixon and a former LSU player face more than 15 years in state prison based on police allegations that they committed a series of robberies and other crimes this week.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office on Thursday afternoon filed charges against Dixon and Trey Lealaimatafao, both 19. Each man faces five counts of second-degree robbery and one count each of carjacking, attempted carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.

Dixon and Lealaimatafao were scheduled to be arraigned downtown late Thursday afternoon. According to the DA, if found guilty on all charges the two men could face more than 15 years in prison.
