LOS ANGELES – USC’s football players all took a knee in the middle of the practice field Thursday morning, and in front of them stood All-Americans, national champions and Rose Bowl heroes.
More than a dozen former players came to campus to show their support for the current Trojans as they practiced for the final time before Saturday’s game at Notre Dame. It’s been a tumultuous week for USC, after the firing of Coach Steve Sarkisian, but the returning players stressed positivity.
“You’ve got a little turbulence,” Keyshawn Johnson told the players.
