USC football’s defensive line rebuild continues with the commitment of Dillon Faamatau out of Cerritos JC.
“I’ve faced a lot of adversity throughout the past couple of months,” Faamatau wrote in a lengthy message on Twitter Sunday evening. “Today I have received the greatest news and assurance that I will be granted the opportunity to carry on my dreams of playing football.”
The former three-star recruit out of Norwalk originally signed with ASU and redshirted in 2015 before leaving the Sun Devils and enrolling at Ceritos.
“I would like to thank Coach Helton and Coach Nansen for having faith in me and for providing me with the opportunity to further my Academic and Athletic career at USC.
