For USC's Adoree' Jackson, expectations go both ways

LOS ANGELES – No one expects more from Adoree’ Jackson than … Adoree’ Jackson.

The dynamic USC sophomore set a high standard for himself last season, when he was the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. He raised the bar in the offseason by listing the Thorpe Award and Heisman Trophy among his future goals.

Jackson has done a lot of good things this season, including a highlight-reel performance against Arizona State and an 83-yard touchdown against Notre Dame. But in Jackson’s view, it isn’t enough.

He struggled to cover Fighting Irish receiver Will Fuller, allowing three big plays, including a touchdown.
