Chris Steele, who played high school football at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, has committed to USC. He played high school football under 20 miles away from the LA Memorial Coliseum, so this commitment comes to the surprise of few. Steele chose USC over a bevy of other schools, including Notre Dame, UCLA, Stanford, Penn State, Michigan, Miami, and Clemson.
Steele is a 6’ 1.5”, corner who weighs 185 pounds. He has elite speed, running a 4.54 40 at The Opening Finals, hosted by Nike in Texas. Per 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Steele is the number 5 CB in the country, as well as the number 5 player in California for the class of ‘19.
