STANFORD – If only the USC basketball team could fit Galen Center in a carry-on bag.
USC’s return to basketball relevance has had its ups and downs this season, with a 15-1 home record accounting for the majority of the feel-good moments. Away from home, it’s been a challenge for Andy Enfield’s Trojans, particularly in Pac-12 play.
Dorian Pickens scored 22 of his career-high 25 points in the first half and Stanford routed USC, 84-64, Thursday night, dropping the Trojans (19-9, 8-7 Pac-12) to 2-6 in conference road games.
Katin Reinhardt scored 14 points to lead the fading Trojans, who have lost four of five after opening conference play 7-3.
