USC is already dealing with depth issues on the defensive side of the ball with due to injuries. They now lose another defensive player in redshirt freshman Trevor Trout for the remainder of spring camp after having surgery to repair a torn bicep he suffered over the weekend. Trout was seen in a sling when the team returned for week two of camp. Trojans head coach Clay Helton confirmed that he would be out for the remainder of the spring.
