College Football 2015: USC season outlook

KEYS TO THE SEASON

OFFENSE: It’s the same as last season – the offensive line. USC at times played three freshmen in 2014, and, predictably, the results were mixed. With those players a year older – and every other significant blocker returning – the line was perceived to be a team strength. But the unit struggled in training camp, in part because of injuries. Left tackle Chad Wheeler, who suffered a torn ACL about halfway through last season, was brought along slowly in camp before accidentally getting hit in the side of the head with a medicine ball.
